Senate approves $3 billion in bonds for universities

For the first time in nearly a decade, Texas universities could soon have some state money for construction headed their way. The Texas Senate Tuesday approved roughly $3 billion in bonds for universities, which have seen rapidly swelling student populations in recent years but haven't had money from the state to expand since 2006.

UHCL Pearland Campus offers RN to BSN program

UHCL is now offering courses toward a BSN for nurses who hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution and a valid license to practice as an RN in Texas.
