Astronaut Michael E. Fossum is one of 12 speakers featured at University of Houston-Clear Lake’s, “Small Talk, Big Ideas,” an event that brings experts and guests together for breakfast and informal conversation on timely topics, April 17, 7:30 – 9 a.m., in the university’s Forest Room. Fossum will discuss “From Launch to Landing: Living and Working in Space,” his first-hand account of Space Shuttle flight and his six-month command of the International Space Station. Other topics offered at this annual event include parenting, women in the workplace, building a business, publishing, health and wellness, collaboration, media, space tourism, religion, finding balance and working for justice. Tickets are $12 for UH-Clear Lake alumni, students and staff, while community friends pay $15.
