Delegation from Turkey visits UHCL

A delegation of district governors from Turkey visited University of Houston-Clear Lake in early February and met with university President William A. Staples (seated, center). Among those visiting and pictured are (seated, l to r) Yusuf Turhan; Staples; and Yakup Bolukbasi; (standing, l -r) UH-Clear lake Office of International Initiatives Executive Director Sameer Pande; UH-Clear Lake Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering Hakduran Koc; Adem Basoglu; Hamza Ozer; and Haci Asim Akgul. The delegation has been in Houston since October 2011 attending English language and leadership classes at Rice University.

University of Houston-Clear Lake offers 40 undergraduate and 46 graduate degree programs, including a doctoral program, from its four schools, which include the School of Business, School of Education, School of Human Sciences and Humanities, and School of Science and Computer Engineering.
