New officers elected for UHCL Omicron Delta Kappa
UH-Clear Lake student honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa Hilary Jo Karp Circle recently elected two new officers to the organization’s Executive Board for the spring 2013 semester. Carrie Yost is the new vice president of programming, responsible for organizing and planning projects on and off campus. Terri Copeland is the new vice president of membership responsible for new member outreach.
“Through a solid officer team that will work together to accomplish goals, I know that we will have a wonderful semester filled with many activities,” says ODK President, Justin Medellin. “This will hopefully lead to a much larger group of students who will be inducted into the Circle during the spring 2013 semester.”
Organization goals for the coming year include adding more community service with area nonprofits like the Houston Food Bank. ODK was founded at Washington and Lee University in Virginia in 1914.
